Social programme Details on the social programme will be communicated to participants during the congress. A welcome drink will take place on Monday, September 6th. A visit of Rouen historical centre will take place after the scientific programme on Thursday, September 8th. It will be followed by a festive dinner in a restaurant of the centre of the town." Scientific programme The general theme of the XIth International Colloquium on Apterygota is to address recent investigations on the different groups of organisms that constitute the "Apterygota", i.e. Collembola, Protura, Diplura, Archaeognatha and Zygentoma. Contributions focusing on any domain of investigation related to these organisms is welcome, including systematic-taxonomy and biogeography, biology-ecophysiology and ecology, morphology and ultrastructure, human influence and environmental changes and finally evolution and phylogeny. There will be a blend of invited talks (30 minutes), short talks (15 minutes) and dedicated poster sessions. Four themes have been proposed for the scientific programme, but the final scientific organisation of the colloquium will be defined when all the abstracts are reviewed.
